Steve Page plays writes and performs what is best described as Blues-Americana. He draws equally on the Delta Blues of Robert Johnson and the ballads of Woody Guthrie to create a show steeped in the atmosphere of the Prohibition era and Dustbowl America.
Steve released his solo album ‘The Age of Plenty’ in 2011 to critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. The first album of his band, the Open Secrets, won comparisons with the Old Crow Medicine Show. The Open Secrets second album was described as “simply marvellous by R2 (Rock n’Reel) Magazine.
In his solo show, Steve switches seamlessly between guitar, slide guitar and clawhammer banjo.
