Stroud-based singer/songwriter and guitarist, Stuart Earl, has released two highly acclaimed albums in recent years. His most recent album ‘Peanuts & Monkeys’ was co-produced by slide guitar master, Michael Messer, and keyboard player, Richard Causon (Tom Jones, Ryan Adams). ‘Peanuts & Monkeys’ also features pedal steel legend, BJ Cole. Stuart Earl’s musical mix of blues and Americana has gained him many fans at venues and festivals across the country and Europe. His albums have been featured on radio shows in the UK, Europe and Australia. 

Singer/songwriter Stuart Earl started writing songs about 10 years ago. He formed ‘EARL’ with Lyndon Webb and wrote the songs for his 1st album ‘My name is Earl –The Album’. The duo expanded into a 4 piece band and regularly play gigs and festivals across the country. Based in South West and Wales they play acoustic and slide guitars and a mixture of original songs covering Americana, country and blues.

Michael Messer’s reputation as an innovator of the blues and master of slide guitar are well known. Throughout his thirty year recording career, his music has remained individual and contemporary.

Stuart Earl and Michael Messer will be playing a mainly acoustic mix of original compositions and classic blues in an intimate setting. Americana meets the Blues….guaranteed!
