Here is the latest news from Wotton Blues Festival – July Festival updates, with information about our sponsors, workshops, headline act and volunteers.
Renishaw again support Wotton Blues Festival
We’re pleased to announce that Renishaw is again supporting the Festival, both financially and in practical ways. They have kindly agreed to let us use their facility at Old Town for car parking on both Saturday and Sunday – no overnight stays though. We have a dedicated camper van park at a different site – please click here for details.
Blues Workshops and Tutorials sponsored by Magnox
Following last year’s resounding success, we have blues workshops and tutorials planned for the weekend, all kindly sponsored by Magnox from the company’s socio-economic scheme. Places are limited on these free workshops, so watch out for details coming to you in a newsletter and on our website.
Our Headline Act
We’ve secured a UK Blues Award nominated and highly acclaimed artist to play for you on Saturday night at The Town Hall, and we’ll be letting you know who it is at the start of August.
Due to legal limits on the number of people we are allowed to have at the venue, the event will be ticketed. Tickets are free and will be released online during August. Watch out for the announcement, or follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and updates.
Festival Volunteers
We already have a group of fantastic volunteers helping us during the Festival weekend, but if you would like to join them and help us provide an even better event for Wotton, we’re always looking for more. Please email Rob Garlicki at wottonbluesfest@gmail.com
